Subordinating Law to Emotion

As with rights, few Americans are well versed in laws or the reasons for them. This allows a journalist to mischaracterize or demonize them to positive Progressive effect, especially when doing so tugs at heart strings.

The best way to accomplish this subordination of law to emotion is to work hand-in-hand with our progressive leaders in Congress and elsewhere. Pairing emotional criticism of laws with a policy or bill recommendation can be quite effective. Again and again and again. It also gives a journalist the opportunity to point out how conservatives' love of law and enforcement makes them heartless.
